Welcome to Japan, a delicious food paradise! Our travel in Japan was full of great dine experiences.
Our morning in Tokyo started with freshly baked bread and pastry from a cute French bakery near our hotel.

One of Tokyo's special foods is Sushi, especially called Edo-Mae Sushi. To look for authentic sushi, we went to Ginza, a mecca of Edo-Mae Sushi. While there were many sushi restaurants in Ginza, based on my research, I believed Sushiya Mao would give us an incredible experience. Yes, they did! In fact I missed taking a picture of Sakizuke, some sushi pieces and Tamago because I was simply distracted with the master's amazing creations.

While we walked around Ginza, we found Kimura-ya, the first bakery in Japan. Their An-pan is made with Sake yeast, which develops unique yummy perfume. I picked some for our breakfast. I am an An-pan lover.

We also went to Shinjuku, a major commercial and administrative center in Tokyo. A five star luxury hotel, Park Hyatt Tokyo was one of our destinations, where was a movie filming location of
Lost in translation (2003).

Before taking a bus to Mt. Fuji region, we found a 24 hour-open Soba/Udon cafe in Shinjuku. Quick, cheap, but still tasty!

Before heading for Osaka by Shinkansen, so-called "bullet train," we were looking for a lunch place around Tokyo Station, and happened to find a British pub & restaurant whose menu didn't have any British foods.... suspicious...but we tried.
