We had a dinner at Palena, Washington D.C., James Beard award winner Frank Ruta's restaurant. It was the first time for us to visit; we found out unfortunately their service was sometimes problematic and the restaurant's atmosphere was obsolete. (Sorry, but I am honest.) Their salmon and spelt-flour pasta cheered us up, though. They were pretty good. We like to try a new restaurant anyway. Everyday is not sunny.
