Sourdough Waffles

These were sourdough waffles.

What a wonderful weekend morning, starting with homemade light crispy waffles! Inside was fluffy and creamy. Yes, they have a creamy texture like sourdough pancakes. We assume sourdough starter does something for that effect.

The waffle batter with sourdough starter was airy, and I must have poured the batter a little too much on the waffle pan. The batter overflew the pan, and made it messy! I will be more careful next time. Will it be next time? Of course, the waffles were very delicious!
