Laura Chenel’s Goat Brie
J picked up this Californian cheese at Wegmans. I am glad the smiley goat attracted him! Our first goat brie was lovely. Creamy but not too heavy. Soft but not too gooey or shapeless even at a room temperature. Slightly sweet and mellow. According to Laura Chanel's website, they cream several kinds of goat cheese. Somehow they didn't list brie on their site. Don't they make brie anymore? On the other hand, some other cheese look nice. I will look for another cute little goat face at Wegmans' cheese section next time.
