Our favorite local Italian restaurant has started serving a special fish dish. Apparently it's not a regular menu yet: you can order the dish only when they get fresh fish. Luckily we visited the restaurant on their fish day recently. The day's fish was branzino. They cooked fish in two ways:
bianco (a white wine sauce with a super strong garlic flavor) and
rosso (a fresh cherry tomato sauce with a strong garlic flavor). We ordered one each to share.
Branzino tasted pretty good. The portion was generous. Both sauces were simple and highlighted the quality of fish. We were very pleased with the new fish experience given by the restaurant. We'll definitely ask for their fish dishes again!
