Easter Bunny visited on Easter Sunday this year and brought us many wonderful chocolate. L.A. Burdick's "Rocher nest with eggs" was one of them.
The nest was presented in the lovely box with ribbon. When I took the nest out of the box and plastic wrap, I was very surprised at the great depth and hight of the nest. The nest held five chocolate eggs. All were hand-made. What a fantastic artwork!
On the other hand, it was chocolate. We ate all, of course. The nest was made with dark chocolate and caramelized almond slivers. Five chocolate eggs contained of one dark chocolate egg filled with hazelnut praline; two milk chocolate eggs filled with banana honey caramel and banana dark chocolate ganache; two white chocolate eggs filled with white chocolate ganache blended with French raspberries. Every piece and part was so delicious!
