Bakewell Tart from YO Bakehouse in Malton

We have had bakewell tarts some times. This one from YO Bakehouse could be the best so far! It was light and moist. Nicely buttery and almond-y. Not too sweet. It seems that bakewell tarts often come with the whole iced top, but we preferred this way to avoid extra sugar.  

We would still love to visit the town of Bakewell in Derbyshire and try the original bakewell tart as well as bakewell pudding someday!
