Shepherd's Pie with Window Garden Thyme & Bracken Hill's Yorkshire Dales Pickle

Homemade shepherd's pie is always cosy and delicious, especially this one was given great flavors from a bunch of fresh thyme that I have been growing at the kitchen window shelf and Bracken Hill's Yorkshire Dales Pickle that J picked up at Castle Howard's farmer's shop.  

Also, I didn't add too much carrot this time, so the pie was nicely meaty. I believe that the aspect pleased J!
