Great Sage, revisited

We visited Great Sage, an organic vegetarian restaurant to have an early dinner.

Like the last time, it was before 5pm. They served not dinner but Lite-fare menu. We picked two appetizers and one entree to share. The entree was BBQ Southwest wrap - "BBQ roasted tofu, black beans, corn, lettuce, tomato and housemade cashew 'cheddar' wrapped in a spinach tortilla and served with creamy Dijon coleslaw and dill ranch dressing." It was pretty good. We both liked it.
One of the appetizers was Miso Tofu - "Warm miso-roasted tofu served on sesame seaweed salad and topped with kimchee-dressed cabbage slaw." I thought it was good while it wan't J's favorite. It was a surprisingly little spicy because of Kimchee!
The other appetizer was Buffalo Bites - "Battered and baked cauliflower tossed in a spicy buffalo sauce and served with celery and dill ranch dressing." I know it should be spicy and it WAS spicy for me! Still it was an interesting and clever way to enjoy cauliflower.
It has become almost a tradition for J to order their green drink. I guess it was Pineapple Kale with ginger, which was pretty good too.
We won't leave there without a dessert - Petite Coconut Cream Pie Pudding with Soy 'whip' and a mini coconut macaroon. It was petite indeed. I wanted to have more...
