Japanese Cabbage Pancake for Breakfast

This was Okonomi-yaki, a Japanese cabbage pancake.

It was my breakfast. I was treating myself with Japanese flavors - seaweed and dried bonito fish in the pancake dough and sweet-savory Okonomi sauce that I bought along with Japanese style rice from an online Asian grocery store.

Such flavors were nothing special when I was in Japan. Now they are so precious in my life here.
