Christmas Feast 2025
We celebrated our fourth Christmas in Germany with roasted goose legs again! The recipe was almost same as one from the last year. I added celery, fresh rosemary, thyme and bay leaves along with onion and carrot in the roasting pan. I think the legs became more flavorful. The sides were red cabbage and boiled potatoes like the last year. I couldn't find good-looking kale this time, so I made fresh leafy salad with grapefruit and fennel for greens. Dessert, which is always my favorite, included a lot of German Christmas specialties thanks to Santa J.
During the holiday season we also enjoyed sweet and savory yummies from our latest trip, about which I am going to blog sometime later.
