These were two kinds of homemade pizza: Pizza Margherita and Pizza with Sardine and Pesto.
Pizza Margherita is our favorite pizza at all times. The perfect combination of fresh tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil was clean, refreshing, truly delicious as usual.
This was new for us: oven-roasted tomatoes, pesto, Portuguese sardines, and mozzarella on pizza. This was absolutely delicious. Oven-roasted tomatoes were packed with their own concentrated sweet juice. Sardines were gently mellow, not fishy or salty at all. Pesto was my favorite
Pesto alla Genovese made with generous handful of fresh basil from our garden. Mozzarella was sweet milky. Everything was neatly harmonized with each other.
Both were different. We loved both!
