Mitsitam Cafe
We had a lunch at the cafe located in National Museum of the American Indian.
This was our second visit at the cafe called Mitsitam Cafe, which means "Let's eat!" in the native language of the Delaware and Piscataway peoples.
The cafe is quite unique. They serve Native foods. Importantly their foods are not just interesting but also pretty good! I got my wild rice & watercress salad and persimmon & carrot soup from the Northern Woodlands region corner. Both were very tasty.
J was enjoying Chipotle Chicken Taco - Grilled Chipotle Chicken on Fry Bread, Lettuce, Tomato and Shredded Cheese - from the Great Plains region corner. The bread was so fluffy!
After the lunch, we explored the museum and had a good time!
