Mentaiko Furikake

This was Mentaiko Furikake on rice.

Furikake is Japanese dried seasoning for rice. This was Mentaiko version, which is dried cod roe spiced with red hot chili and other dried ingredients like sesame, seaweed, and etc.

My mother sent this especially for J who likes spicy food although many Japanese "spicy" foods have not been spicy enough for J so far. This Furikake wasn't an exception. Anyway we enjoyed the product on rice!
