Lemon Poppy Seed Scones

These were Lemon Poppy Seed Scones.

It was J's idea to make a new scone. Sesame scone was another option. Maybe next time. I used my usual Scottish scone recipe and added a plenty of lemon zest and poppy seeds.

I don't know who started the combination of lemon and poppy seeds but it's delightful.
