Lunch Buffet @ Royal Taj
Since J's parents had a chance to come up to Columbia, we met at Royal Taj to have a lunch together.
Royal Taj's buffet style lunch has been very popular. All tables were taken when we got there. It was a little late lunch time when we got there, but all tables were taken. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were led to a table and ready for the buffet. As a vegetable lover, it was so nice to see three kinds of curries and a Indian cheese curry. They were very tasty! I had a little bite of fish curry, which was so-so. I would stick to non-meat/chicken/fish curry here. A chef was making Dosas, or crepes with spiced potato. I tried one and liked the Japanese Mochi-like chewy dough! There were Tandoori chicken and some fried stuffs too, but there was no more space on my plate...
For desserts, rice pudding and Gulab Jamun. The donut-like light balls immersed in sweet syrup were my favorite as usual. With a couple of cups of sweeten chai, we were happily full!
