Blue Bottle Coffee - Giant Steps
This was Blue Bottle Coffee's Giant Steps.
It was our second coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee. Our first one, Bella Donovan wasn't too bad, but unfortunately didn't join to our favorites. Giant Steps was another bean that the customer support recommended me. It was described as viscous, fudgy, substantial, quite dark and chocolaty. It was a blend of beans from Sumatra and Uganda. We made a coffee with the beans with French press as usual. It tasted like normal coffee. I mean, there was no character that differentiates itself. Just a coffee. In that sense, Bella Donovan had a uniqueness. Giant Steps didn't, in our opinions. Probably it's time for us to find a new coffee venture to try.
