Fractured Prune Doughnuts
One of their franchise store was open near our place a couple of years ago although we haven't had a chance to try their doughnuts. Finally we did! They provide doughnuts covered with various glazes and toppings. They don't offer any cream-filled doughnuts. We picked two banana cream pie, a s'more, and a strawberry shortcake. A good thing was the staff just started to deep-frying doughnuts after receiving the order. So the doughnuts were very hot! Then, they put glazes and toppings on the hot doughnuts. So the glazes were melt and the doughnuts looked messy. I guess that was supposed to happen. The glazes and toppings were too sweet for me, but doughnuts themselves were very fresh and tasty. You can choose glazes and toppings to make your own favorite doughnuts. I would order fresh doughnuts with simple cinnamon sugar or something light if there is next time.
