Pastries from Tous Les Jours
We dropped by the bakery on our way to see our friends in the area.We have never been to the bakery and curious to see what they have. J picked a cheese bun; I picked a green pea paste bun and a sweet potato pie. We also bought a black bean sesame loaf. There was another South Korean bakery called Shilla Bakery just across the road. We walked down there to compare one with the other. Shilla Bakery seemed to focus on more dessert pastries and cakes. We bought a white bean paste bun and a corn bread. In short, everything was ok, not great. Overall, the bread part didn't have much flavor or was strangely sweet. Am I too picky? I know that.
