I like Shepherd's pie and have made the classic English dish
several times. Now I am in England. Why don't I make one here? It was of course no problem to get all ingredients that I needed at a local grocery store. Carrots here looked much bigger than those in US...
Worcestershire sauce and red wine!
I always like extra potato on top. For me, this is not a lamb dish but a potato dish.

I haven't had Shepherd's pie here yet. I can't compare mine with one from restaurant/pub or grocery store, but I feel mine is as good as, even better than many others!
