I like homemade pasta sauce while I don't mind a store-bought jar if it's good. Marks and Spencer's roasted aubergine and mascarpone sauce is a really good one. It's a concentrated "stir through" type, and has a pleasant smoky flavor. This time I tossed Tagliatelle with the sauce. Such a super easy meal looked and tasted like a dish at a fine restaurant. I make sure that a couple of jars of the sauce are always in our pantry.
