Champignon Mushroom

This was Champignon Mushroom - a triple cream soft ripen cheese.

It was our first time to try this German cheese that apparently has been around over 100 years! Actually I was surprised to know this was from Germany. Since the cheese is sold just next to a French savory cheese that we recently had, I somehow thought this was also made by the same French company. Maybe this was our first time to pick up German cheese.

We had this cheese on toasted bagels. We liked it! Very earthy, mushroomy. J thought as if he was eating mushroom cream soup. Funny.
