Absolute Bagels in NYC

Our first entertainment in NYC was bagel breakfast! This place, Absolute Bagels, located in Manhattan Valley, near the northern top of Central Park was on my go-to list.

It was a chilly morning. There was a 5-6 people waiting line outside and unknown number of people inside. More people were making a line behind us. Definitely a popular place! The inside was small but had some tables. I grabbed a table while J kept staying in the line and came back to the table with fresh bagels. J's was everything; mine was sesame. We shared smoked salmon cream cheese.

My bagel was soft, lightly chewy and so tasty!! Not dense, tough, or chewy like those we usually find. J loved his bagel too. The cream cheese was fine. For me, it tasted like Ikura (salmon roe) more than smoked salmon.

If their bagels are real, what have we been eating?! Anyway, after refining our standard for bagels, it was the time to explore in Central Park!
