An-Pan

This was An-Pan.

For my brother's visit, I didn't made dessert but baked An-Pan. These sweeten Azuki red bean paste filled buns are truly Japanese traditional sweets that I hoped my brother would have a peaceful tea time with. Plus, they are easy to transport and handle without refrigeration. I thought he could take some with him for late snack or tomorrow's breakfast. What a thoughtful sister I am!
He ate one with a cup of hot Japanese green tea after Niku-Jaga lunch and took four An-Pans with him. My plan was successful.
