Di Pasquale's Veal Cannelloni & Ricotta Manicotti
These were veal cannelloni and ricotta manicotti from Di Pasquale's.
We bought those frozen stuffed tube pasta when we visited Di Pasquale's last time for any emergency (or I-am-lazy-day) dinner. I guess it was such a day. Actually I wasn't totally lazy. At least I made marinara sauce and grated parmesan cheese freshly.
The package said bake for about 30 minutes, but took about 1 hour. It wasn't a problem though. We weren't in a harry anyway. Topped with fresh basil, let's eat!
They were pretty good, honestly better than expected. Ricotta was nicely creamy. Veal was very flavorful. But four tubes of only ricotta or only veal could be too simple or too heavy. The best part of this dinner was we had two different fillings.
