Pi Day Pie

This was Pi Day Pie from the Pure Pasty.

J kindly bought these little chocolate pistachio pie along with the pasties we enjoyed. The price of the pie was pi. I thought that was funny; J thought it was obvious. However the pie wasn't just a gimmick for the pie day. The pie was a seriously constructed treat. The crust was very thin, light and buttery. The chocolate top layer and pistachio filling were wonderful.

And the highlighted part was an apricot jam between pistachio filling and pie crust. The fruity sweet sour layer outlined the whole pie! How thoughtful!
