Purple Rolled Cake & S'mores Bites from Sweet City Desserts
It was our first visit. Several pretty cakes were in the showcase. The purple color caught my eye although I had no idea what the taste would be like. We picked one of the purple rolled cake and one S'mores Bites and shared both as usual. I wanted to like them but honestly it was disappointing. The purple rolled cake was just so sugary, no flavor and a kind of dry. So was S'mores Bites. Looking good doesn't always taste good. By the way, later I figured out what the purple color was. Purple Yam according to the store's website. I like yam, but sorry, not this one.
