Sweets & more from re-opened Bonaparte Breads & Bakery

We were so glad to know our local French bakery, Bonaparte Bread & Bakery has been back!

After our last visit for King Cake, apparently the place had been closed. We were shocked and sad until we heard the bakery has been reopened. Good news! Now they are baking breads and making pastries there, not in Baltimore where they used to do so, which means all goods are fresher! Even better!! We bought blueberry tart and coconut cake for desserts. Also, a ham and cheese croissant, a spinach croissant, two chicken empanadas and a cranberry and nuts loaf... We were simply excited.

Both desserts were lovely, especially custard cream in the blueberry tart tasted very fresh. Coconut cake was the bakery's new cake. We look forward to seeing more new cakes and breads!
