Spinach Linguine with Clams & Scallops
It was a upgraded version of our usual clam pasta! We picked up a box of De Cecco's spinach linguine for the first time. Also we bought several fresh scallops to add to the dish. Both were J's ideas. The result was pretty good! Spinach linguine didn't taste like spinach but the color was so beautiful and springy. I believe we eat with eyes first. Quick pan-seared scallops were tender and sweet, matched to my usual clam-white wine sauce well. It became a fancy satisfying dinner. That was the exact time to make me think we won't have to go to a restaurant.
