J's Caprese Sandwich with Rosemary Sourdough Bread
Caprese - tomato, homemade basil pesto and mozzarella cheese was a taste of summer! Like the sandwich that J made with a large juicy summer tomato recently, a thick slice of summer tomato was a key of this sandwich while the addition of pesto and mozzarella were impeccable. Savory rosemary flavor in our bread machine sourdough bread was very nice again. What a wonderful end-of-summer sandwich!
