Gnocchi with Lamb Ragu
I was going to make Shepherd's pie when I added ground lamb into my online shopping cart. Then, I remembered that we had gnocchi in the refrigerator. Why should I pair ground lamb and gnocchi together so that I wouldn't need to buy potatoes to mash meanwhile I could finally use gnocchi that has been in refrigerator for a while? Win-win. In that case, I didn't need to use the oven but just two pans. Easy prep and clean. Win-win-win. I made simple lamb ragu that was very similar to the filling of Shepherd's pie and served it with boiled gnocchi. The result was great! J liked the pair very much. Win-win-win-win.
