My First Chocolate Soufflés


I was very happy to see my first chocolate soufflés beautifully risen! They were airy and tasted delightful. Serving with ice cream would be my preference, but we didn't have any. We drizzled creme de cassis a bit instead. That actually worked pretty well.
Like popovers or pitas, watching the soufflés rising in the oven was fun. I would make the soufflés again just to enjoy the moment.
