Walnut Icebox Cookies


Making icebox cookies is easy but achieving a light, delicate and melt-in-mouth texture is tricky. Dough should be blended very well but never be kneaded. A technique called "Fraiser" is required. This time I would give 7 out of 10 points to the result. I will try to do better next time! Plain icebox cookies with a hint of vanilla are simply delicious but those with walnuts are my favorite. Sesame seeds or Japanese green tea flavor would be lovely, too.
