Second Pesto Genovese in 2014

This was our second Pesto Genovese 2014 celebration with Farfalle.

J picked the pasta shape for a change. I guess we haven't used short pasta for pesto before without any specific reasons, but actually short pasta was much much much easier to toss with pesto together than long pasta. Why didn't I think about that before?

We can't stop loving this beautiful summer pasta dish. Hoping our garden basils keep growing and stay healthy though the summer!
