Zaru-Soba in Summer 2015

This was Zaru-Soba.

It seems 2013 was the latest year we had Zaru-soba. What happened in 2014?! Anyway, this is a traditional Japanese way to enjoy Soba (buckwheat noodle), especially during summer! I adapted a new recipe for homemade dipping sauce, or Men-Tsuyu that I found on Japanese recipe portal, Cookpad. It was easy to make and tasty.
A lot of fresh chive and Nori seaweed (for me, not for J according to his request) were simple but essential garnish. Yum!
