Krispy Kreme in Town
These were Krispy Kreme donuts.
A new store has been open in our neighborhood town recently. We were there two days later since their opening day. The store was still celebrating their opening with a loud music, some games and a temporary tent to sell store goods. The waiting line was longer passing the door to the outside. There wasn't Krispy Kreme around this area while you can easily find a Dunkin'. People seemed so excited to own a KK in the town!
What I like about Krispy Kreme is I can see their production line at a store. I can stay there and watch it a whole day. Here the puffy doughnut dough are!
They were just deep fried.
Their famous original glaze splash!
Shining!
I would like to know where all these non-original glazed doughnuts come from. Are they also made in the store?
We got half a dozen. None of them was original glazed. Of course we picked my favorite Boston cream, which they call Chocolate Iced Custard Filled. It tasted fresh and fluffy. So did the others! Yes, they were very sweet, sugary, probably fatty, but somehow doughnuts are charming, aren't they?
