Little Spice

This was Tofu Pad Thai from Little Spice, a Thai restaurant in Hanover, MD.

J brought it and his chicken pad thai for dinner. Thank you J! How did he know I have been dreaming about their pad thai recently? He also got crispy spring rolls for appetizer.

I like their pad thai because unlike many other restaurants, it is not greasy, tastes fresh, and has an unidentified ingredient that is crunchy, flavorful and a little sweet. It can be chopped preserved turnip, which apparently is a common ingredient of traditional pad thai. However I have never seen or tried preserved turnip in person, so it is just my guess.
