Rustic Potato & Leek Soup, again & Egg Salad Sandwiches

This was rustic potato and leek soup, again!

J was looking for a recipe from our slow cooker cooking books and picked this soup. He must have liked this soup very much. So did I! We waited for 5 hours in low. The soup was ready.
Like the last time, we reduced cream. This time we used only 1/4 cup. Fresh dill was a nice garnish. A problem was in order to get only two tablespoons of minced dill for the entire pot, I needed to buy a big bunch of fresh dill. I added about three tablespoons, but still a lot of dill was left. Why is dill sold in such a huge amount? How do people use up all the dill?
We also made sandwich to go with soup. Egg salad and sliced cucumber, just like a traditional English finger sandwich for a tea party.
The soup and sandwich combo dinner was very satisfying. We repeated the dinner in the exactly same way next day.
