First Cataplana of Seafood in 2016 & more
This was the first Cataplana of Seafood in 2016!
We haven't used our Cataplana pan for a while. Since J's parents visited us, we thought it would be fun to introduce the special copper pan to them and have the Portuguese seafood stew together. J's mother brought lovely appetizers - beet, goat cheese, and walnuts on endive leaves and spicy baba ganoush dip with fresh vegetables and crackers. They were light and delicious!

Ingredients of this time were halibut filets, jumbo shrimps, scallops, squids, and baby potatoes. Everything that were quickly cooked the flavorful roasted red pepper-based sauce was so tasty! We were glad to finally share this special seafood dinner experience with J's parents!
