J's Mother's Spaghetti with Meat Sauce in NC
It was a rare and great opportunity for me to taste homemade pasta sauce made by someone else. It was meaty, bold and nicely seasoned. I believe she added onions, garlics, celeries, green bell peppers and banana peppers along with canned tomatoes. Interestingly, there was no carrots; instead, using green bell peppers and/or banana peppers was a great change. J loves peppers. I see how he has developed his taste!
