Thanksgiving 2016

Happy Thanksgiving 2016!

We were again in North Carolina and the main dish was again Nueske's applewood smoked spiral sliced born-in ham. Everyone seemed to become a fan of the honey-glazed ham from Wisconsin, saying we can't go back to grocery hams anymore. This was that good!
Side dishes were J's mother's famous green bean casserole and stuffing. J's thanksgiving couldn't be complete without these perfectly seasoned and tasty dishes. I fully understand it.
Well, my actual main dish was J's mother's candied yam with toasted marshmallows. So delicious!
We were seriously stuffed, but, of course, there was a dessert. It will be another story. To be continued...
