Brownie Sandwich Cookies by Club Harie

These were brownie sandwich cookies by Club Harie, a Japanese Western-style confectionery store.

My parents sent us various kinds of sweets from Japan for our birthdays. It's very sweet of them as always! One of the treats was these huge cookies. Cookies were two flavors - Japanese green tea, Matcha, and chocolate. The two large cookies "sandwich" brownie. Well, the store said brownie, but it was more like rich dark chocolate ganache bar. The cookies were not traditional Japanese sweets. They were supposed to be Western-style. However, I haven't seen something like them in the US.

The cookies were nice. Moreover, the package was neat, which was very Japanese-style. Japanese love beautiful packaging and wrapping.
