This was a box of Rabitos Royal White Chocolate Fig Bonbons, made in Spain.
I bought the box as a part of J's birthday gifts. They were dried figs covered with white chocolate truffle flavored with a touch of strawberry. It sounded lovely.
We have had their cousins - dark chocolate-covered figs, which were very good, too. When I saw the white chocolate version first time was just at the beginning of the 2016 Christmas season. The box had dreamy pink blossoms, just like a beautiful spring time, not really right for Christmas. I thought it would be a very cute gift for J whose birthday is in February! Spring starts in early February in the traditional Japanese calendar. So, it does make a sense, at least for me.
These white chocolate covered figs were very good. Really good. They were smooth, creamy and fruity. Perfect for the beginning of spring and J's birthday!
