We didn't have desserts at Clarity because a special chocolate mousse cake was waiting for us! J's mother kindly prepared the cake in advance so that we could have a dessert time at home in a relaxing way after dining-out. How thoughtful! One candle for each of us. We brew the candles together. Did everyone make a wish? I did! J's father made lovely French press coffee. It was a perfect way to wrap up our joint birthday party.
In fact, the beginning of the party was also superb with J's mother's lovely appetizer platter and a champagne toast.
