Our first Fish & Chips in England! There are three or four popular places for F&C in Harrogate. Oliver's was one of them. The fish was huge! Well, it might be a standard size in here or England, but I haven't had such a large one-piece fried fish before. It was hot, crispy and light. Fish inside tasted light, too. Chips were plain but ok. Nothing special, I would say.
Overall, It wasn't something like "Wow! I would love to come back and eat it again!" Or, simply I am not a huge fan of fried foods, so just having an experience of British tradition was my goal, which has already achieved. I don't think that it was the best of F&C for J, either. Would the other places be better? We'll figure it out eventually.
