After shopping, we had a lunch at a charming restaurant called the Oxford Place in the downtown of Leeds. We had a table on the upstairs. For a starter, we both had “Summer Salad” with Pear, Avocado, Walnut’s, Grapes and Pomegranate Seeds. It was pretty and tasted refreshing.
My main was Truffled Scrambled Egg. Light and tasty. I don't remember what J's main dish was. Some kind of meat? It looked very nice, and I remembered his happy face.
It was a summer-like hot day in the early September. Just before the lunch, we escaped from the crowds in the shopping malls and found a seat in the peaceful garden. Roses were blooming.
