Homemade Mushroom Quiche


I haven't forgotten that I bought a cooking book about French-style quiches and tarts when I visited Japan last Fall but hadn't had a chance to read it until some weeks ago. The first recipe I adopted from the book was mushroom quiche. I used three kinds of mushrooms: shiitake, cremini and mini eryngii. The result was delightful. It took a good amount of time to bake it from scratch, but it was fun. I hope to find time to bake another quiche soon because there are more recipes in the book I would like to try, and especially because we are not in England that spoiled us with delicious store/bakery-bought quiches.
