Hearty Lamb Stew
I didn't cook anything special on St. Patrick's day of the last month. It just came and passed, just like the day of the last year. This hearty lamb stew was our be-lated celebration on the Irish holiday. I didn't pick a recipe online. I didn't see any connection between it and Ireland, but my goal was to make a hearty tasty lamb stew. The recipe seemed simple and trusted. The recipe called for boneless leg of lam or lam shoulder. I was looking for a pack of chunky pieces for stew at a local M&S store, but didn't see anything like that. J found lamb leg steaks. We bought four steaks and I diced them. The stew turned out very well. The lamb was amazingly tender and tasted clean and wonderful. Thank you J! Lamb leg steaks is our first choice for stew from now on.
