Matcha Rolled Cake with Whipped Cream & Azuki in England
Fortunately I can easily get nice cakes, tarts, chocolate and biscuits/cookies here in England while I still would like to taste Japanese-styled sweets sometimes. My recent creation was Matcha rolled cake with whipped cream and Azuki. I was surprised at finding a can of Azuki beans at Waitrose which I have never seen in the US. The can allowed to make sweetened Azuki beans quickly. The product was organic, no added sugar or salt. Wonderful. I wonder what people here do with canned Azuki beans. I don't believe they make this kind of rolled cake.
