Andalusia, Spain Day 5 - Cordoba
Briefly, Day 5 was another day filled with a lot of amazing experiences. We began exploring the city under the moonlight. It was already around 7:30 am but the sun was still sleeping. We wandered the forest of a hundred of columns and arches in the Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba, climbed up the bell tower, visited Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, crossed the Roman bridge between Puerta del Puente and Torre De Calahorra, stepped into several private patios of Cordovan houses, and walked through Jardines del Duque de Rivas. While the tasting menu at Restaurante Almudaina in a 16th century building was superb, the simple tortilla de patatas or Spanish omelette of Bar Santos was delightful.
